Position Summary:

The Intern Back End Software Developer will support our team and gain hands-on experience working with modern technologies and back-end development. This position is ideal for motivated individuals looking to build their coding skills in a part time capacity. This will be a remote position.

Responsibilities for the Intern Back End Software Developer Include:

• Implementing development and production environments utilizing AWS technology stacks including event driven architecture, gateways, lambdas, etc.

• Design/develop/build/test APIs to integrate our growing cloud (vendor) platforms and handle process automation.

• Build, automate, execute test frameworks and plans.?

• Create documentation as needed (process flows, architecture, procedures, security procedures, test plans, code reviews, etc.).

• Maintain and enhance existing applications, increasing functionality and ensuring smooth migrations.

• Assist with back-end platform integrations and implementations.

Qualifications for the Intern Back End Software Developer Include:

• 0-2 years of coding/development experience, and a strong understanding of programming constructs.

• Completed or current enrollment for Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Tech Certificate.

• Some proficiency with at least one IDE, Postman, etc.

• Some proficiency in at least one programming language, with a preference for JavaScript or other API back-end languages.

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.

• Understanding of SQL or exposure to any relational database.

• Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and effectively apply Agile practices.

Compensation for the Intern Back End Software Developer Includes:

• Hourly Range of $17-20. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, location, travel requirements, and other business and organizational needs.
