Position Summary:
The Resilience and Grants Strategist will support complex client delivery teams of internal and external stakeholders at the intersection of federal funding, grant writing, and resilience. A successful candidate will contribute to helping our clients navigate complex funding landscapes and successfully identify and secure grant funds made available under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and other federal legislation and programs. This is a full-time position that will be remotely based with client travel involved as needed.
Responsibilities for the Resilience and Grants Strategist Include:
Collaborate with clients to design and deliver solutions to achieve strategic priorities for resilience and climate initiatives.
Conduct resilience and climate-related risk and opportunity assessments.
Research and benchmark industry-wide resilience and climate programs and initiatives.
Develop and write grant application draft(s); compile, write, and edit grant applications exhibiting strong expository writing skills and a high-level command of grammar and spelling.
Author professional technical memos, reports, and proposals summarizing complex concepts and project outcomes associated with resilience and climate.
Qualifications for the Resilience and Grants Strategist Include:
Minimum of five (5) years of professional consulting, government, and/or non-profit experience focused on resilience, sustainability, climate, and/or environmental management; at least 1 year in a team lead, supervisory, or management role.
Bachelor’s degree in public administration, public policy, environmental science, emergency management, engineering, energy, sustainability, or a related field.
Some experience with grant strategy, grant planning, and/or grant writing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret federal program policies, rules, and regulations.
Compensation for the Resilience and Grants Strategist Includes:
Salary Range of $80,000-$130,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, location, travel requirements, and other business and organizational needs.
