Grant Manager

The Grant Manager will be responsible for assisting clients and stakeholders with the administration of federal funds and ensuring compliance throughout the grant management process. A successful candidate should have prior experience with federal funds administration and/or grant management associated with emergency management and disaster recovery (FEMA, HUD, PR COR3). This position is for immediate hire and will be located fully on-site in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities for the Grant Manager Include:

  • Support the overall grant management of a portfolio of federal disaster grants.
  • Lead reimbursement processes for disaster grants (e.g., FEMA PA, FEMA HMGP, HUD CDBG-DR), including analyzing data, packaging documentation, aligning to applicable requirements, submitting in existing systems, and responding promptly to any requests for information (RFIs).
  • Communicate with internal clients and external stakeholders (e.g., FEMA, HUD, PR COR3) to discuss, resolve, and deliver federal reimbursements to the client under applicable requirements.
  • Provide project management support by tracking documentation and offering coordination support to team leaders.
  • Provide administrative, analytical, and finance/accounting support to the client and our internal project teams.

Qualifications for the Grant Manager Include:

  • At least three (3) years of professional experience in a relevant field, such as accounting, grants management, or finance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Professional language proficiency in both Spanish and English.
  • Prior involvement in FEMA Public Assistance (PA) and/or HUD Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) reimbursement.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Familiarity with systems and compliance processes implemented by the PR Central Office for Recovery, Reconstruction, and Resiliency (COR3) preferred, but not required.

Compensation for the Grant Manager Includes:

  • Salary range of $70,000 - $105,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, location, travel requirements, and other business and organizational needs.
